Social Impact

On the 3rd Wednesday in May, a worldwide tribute is paid to cyclists killed in road accidents.

All cyclists are invited to take part in the silent rides, organized simultaneously throughout Quebec, in tribute to the fallen cyclists, but also to raise awareness of the importance of sharing the road between different users. The event is free and open to all.

Cyclists are also invited to share their tribute by posting photos of their outings on social networks, using the keywords #tourdusilence and #rideofsilence. The more people we can get talking about road safety and sharing the road, the wider the message will spread.
